The Jamaica Defence Force says the Senior Officer at the Centre of sexual harassment allegations is being recalled from training overseas, to enable further investigation and the appropriate disciplinary proceedings.

In a statement today (October 25), Chief of Defence Staff of the JDF, Rear Admiral Antonette Wemyss Gorman said she is strident in her stance against any act of sexual harassment involving any service member.

She is encouraging persons to report cases of sexual harassment.
