SERHA assures priority treatment of patients

by March 22nd, 2022

Director of the South East Regional Health Authority, Errol Greene, has sought to assure the public, that patients of the various medical hospitals in the region, are being treated with the utmost priority.

This, following claims, that exorbitant funds are being used, to restore one of the region’s hospitals, ahead of Tuesday’s visit of the duke and duchess of Cambridge.

There have been concerns, that the funds are being spent inappropriately, as hospitals are in dire need of essential patient supplies.

Speaking with Irie Fm news, Mr. Green explained, that while money has been spent to improve the aesthetic of the hospital, in preparation for the royal visit, only minimal funds have been used.

In defending this move, Mr. Green noted, that the beautification works are not being done, at the expense of patients.

He stressed the importance of presenting the country in a positive manner, especially since international media will also be present.
