Grammy-winning dancehall singjay Shaggy has been announced as the latest headlining act for MTV Unplugged at Home concerts.

The MTV Unplugged at Home concerts a social distancing version of the hit acoustic concert series will feature acoustic performances by top music acts, streamed across the channels YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter pages.

The concert coincides with the networks #AloneTogether campaign, a global social media initiative seeking to educate young people about the importance of social distancing to flatten the curve of the spread of the Coronavirus.

Shaggy is scheduled to perform this Friday, April 10.
