Former Wolmers girl’s star sprinter Shauna Helps successfully defended her Atlantic Coast championships 100 metres title last night.

Helps clocked a meet record and conference tying 11.26 seconds at the ACC championships.

The Florida State University sophomore edged University of Clemson’s Rebekah smith to clock a new personal best erasing her previous 11.39 set on Saturday in the preliminaries.
