Jamaican track star, Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce has released the first copies of her debut children’s book, ‘I Am a Promise.’

The colorful book with cartoon illustrations for a children-friendly read, tells and illustrates the story of Shelly Ann’s childhood through to her first Olympic gold medal win at the age of 21.

Last week, Shelly-Ann stopped at a basic school in Kingston to give each child an autographed copy of the new book.

‘I Am a Promise’ by Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce, the reigning women’s 100m World Champion, and a six-time Olympic medal winner is currently available locally at Sangster’s Book Store, and is scheduled for international release on Amazon, February 2020. Sales from the book will go towards her Pocket Rocket Foundation.
