Dancehall deejay Shenseea has been accused of copyright infringement by a popular multi-media American artist, Stephanie Sarley.

Known for her fruit art videos which have garnered over hundreds of thousands of views, the artist in a series of posts on her verified Instagram page, shared with her near half a million followers, that Shenseea, without permission, has used her fruit art in the new music video for Foreplay, which was released a week ago.

Stephanie Sarley who says she feels violated has been on a social media rampage since Tuesday evening and has stated that she has also sought legal advice on how to proceed with the matter.

Neither Shenseea nor her team has responded to the accusations by Stephanie Sarley.

However, some of Stephanie’s fans have come out in her defense especially under the official music video on YouTube, with comments chastising Shenseea of stealing art without permission, outweighing and overshadowing the comments about the actual song and video.

When Music News contacted Romeich Entertainment a representative said he was out of office. As for Shenseea, she was unavailable for comment.
