Up-and-coming dancehall entertainer Sikka Rymes is battling for his life at the Kingston Public Hospital, after being shot several times by unknown assailants, in Kingston early Sunday morning.

Reports are that at approximately 3:45 am, Sikka Rhymes was on his way home from an event when upon reaching the Sovereign Centre vicinity in Liguanea, a car drove up and opened fire on Sikka Rymes, who was riding a motorcycle.

Sikka Rymes recently entered the dancehall scene as a member of Vybz Kartel’s Gaza camp and is known for his collaboration ‘Superman’ with Kartel, as well as his latest single ‘Wul Out’ a tribute to incarcerated deejays Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm.
