Veteran singer Bunny Brown has died

Rocksteady singer Noel Bunny Brown has died in Atlanta, Georgia following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Copeland Forbes tells Music News that Bunny Brown died this afternoon.

Bunny Brown was offered a production deal by Sir Coxsone Dodd of Studio One and returned to Jamaica moving from Atlanta where he had been based. Derrick Harriott who has done production with Bunny Brown says he was one of the foundation members of his Crystal Move and Groove label.

Noel ‘Bunny’ Brown was known for songs such as Ready for the World, Memories don’t live like People do, and Rock you Baby.

He was a member of the group The Chosen Few with members Franklin Spence, David Scott and Richard McDonald.

He was in his late 60s.
