Family, friends, and members of the Rastafarian community today bid their final farewell to Minion Phillips, better known as Sister Minnie.

Sister Minnie who was a long-time friend of Rita Marley and chef to the late reggae legend Bob Marley, died last Monday (Sept. 17) at age 68, after battling complications with pneumonia and cardiac arrest.

Several members of the Jamaican government and members of the entertainment industry were among those in attendance at the UWI Mona Chapel to pay their final respects.

Minion Phillips was the ex-wife of PNP President, Dr. Peter Phillips.
