Dancehall heavyweight Sizzla, along with newcomers Yaksta and Nation Boss are the latest entertainers to be added to the lineup of the 2022 staging of Reggae Sumfest in July.

Excited about his Reggae Sumfest debut, Yaksta via his official Instagram account shared the post made by Sumfest which he captioned, “Mommy prayers gone up, Blessing a fall suh.”

The organizers of the festival dubbed “Our Music, Our Festival, Our Culture – The Return”, made the announcement via their official Instagram account over the weekend.

Shenseea, along with Dancehall newcomers Jahshi, Intense, and Skeng are slated to perform on July 22, in the second city.

Meanwhile, Sizzla, Dexta Daps, Jada Kingdom, Yaksta, and Nation Boss are expected to perform on July 23.

The return of Reggae Sumfest will run from July 20 – 23, at its usual home in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay, St James.

Like many other events locally and intentionally, Reggae Sumfest was halted due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
