Skip Marley tops Billboard Adult R&B Chart

by May 20th, 2020

Skip Marley continues to extend the Marley legacy by charting his way into the music history books.

Skip’s R&B collaboration ‘Slow Down’ featuring R&B singer H.E.R, currently sits at number one on the Billboard Adult R&B Chart, making him the first Jamaican-born artiste, to ever hold the top spot on that chart. The only other Jamaican to rank on that chart, was Sean Paul back in 2006, with ‘When You Gonna Give It Up To Me,’ a collaboration with Keyshia Cole.

In thanking his fans for their support, via a post on his official Instagram page, Skip shared that ‘Slow Down’ is also number one on Mediabase urban adult contemporary radio.

With over 44 million global streams since its November 2019 release, ‘Slow Down’ is ranked as the quickest-streaming song in the Marley family history.
