Commissioner of Police, Major General Antony Anderson has sought to explain the reason for the State of Emergency (SOE) in St. Andrew North police division.

Despite the declaration of several SOEs this year, the division had not been included under the measure, until now.

Major General Anderson stressed that the SOE will help to curb issues, including gang-related activities in the division.
