Some parents and principals have reportedly expressed concern about the readiness of students for this year’s sitting of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) exams.
The exams are slated for May to June.
Speaking with reporters yesterday (April 4), Opposition Spokesperson on Education, Dr. Angela Brown Burke said several principals and parents have stated that some students are not prepared for the exams.
She said they are asking for an extension.
Dr. Brown Burke suggested that the Government should partner with other Caribbean countries to secure an extension of the CXC exams.
