The Health Minister has confirmed that 4,000 travellers who were being sought by the government, have now made contact.

The travellers included persons who came into the island between March 18 and 23 prior to the travel restrictions being imposed to prevent imported cases of covid-19.

On Friday, the Prime Minister indicated that persons who did not report to the health ministry would be charged and placed in government quarantine facilities.

At a press briefing today, Dr. Tufton noted that over the past few days, thousands of these persons of interest contacted with the health ministry.
