Grace Hamilton gives gracefully

by August 20th, 2019

Spice’s back-to-school treat in Kingston was a success.

On Tuesday, thousands gathered at the Marverly Gospel Hall and Gordon Memorial Prep School on 100 Molynes Road.

The dancehall deejay through her Grace Hamilton Women Empowerment Foundation is aiding families with school fees, book-lists, backpacks, and other school supplies.

Spice via social media said her aim is to get the nation’s children off the streets and into schools.

Through Instagram, she also expressed that the turnout was bigger than what she was expecting. Spice used the platform to urge her fellow entertainers to come out and give whatever they can so no child will be left disappointed.

Meanwhile, August 22, will see dancehall deejay PopCaan trek to his parish of birth for what he calls an “Off To School Treat and Funday.”

The event powered by the deejay’s PopCaan Care Foundation, will be held at the Rudolf Elder Park in Morant Bay, St. Thomas from 11:00 am until 5 pm.
