Dancehall deejay Spice is set to perform at Amber Rose’s SlutWalk on Saturday, October 6, in Los Angeles.

According to Amber Rose, SlutWalk’s core mission is to uplift, empower and enhance the platform for women across the globe. In an Instagram post, Amber Rose says she is seeking donations in a bid to provide therapy and professional help to those who have been affected by rape or sexual abuse.

In addition to Spice, other entertainers supporting the SlutWalk initiative include rapper Foxy Brown.

The SlutWalk rallies began on April 3, 2011, in Canada after a Toronto police officer suggested that “women should avoid dressing like sluts” as a precaution against sexual assault.

Subsequent rallies have occurred globally.
