In the coming weeks, Jamaicans will have access to Spotify according to the streaming music giant.

On Monday, Spotify revealed that it will be launching in over 80 new markets over the next few days, a rollout that would expand its availability to more than a billion people around the world.

In the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America, and Asia, Spotify said its intent is to improve both creator and fan experiences on its service.

Dancehall Deejay Cecile says the move is great not only for entertainers but music lovers especially during this time.

Spotify will be available in 36 new languages, so it supports more than 60 languages in total. It will also launch HIFI, a subscription level for high-quality audio, in select markets later this year.

Spotify is a Swedish audio streaming and media services provider, launched in October 2008.
