by February 16th, 2022

The St. Andrew North Police say a lack of witnesses is hampering the police’s ability to solve several crimes committed in the division.

Speaking with reporters recently, Head of the Division, Senior Superintendent Aaron Fletcher said there is still no major breakthrough in some incidents, because of a lack of information.

He said one such case is the triple murder in Stony Hill in August last year.

The killings are suspected to be gang related.

The deceased were identified as 17-year-old Adeija Lawes otherwise called ‘Addy’, 21 year -old Brandon Scarlett otherwise called ‘Gussi’, both of Brooks Level Road, Stony Hill, St. Andrew, and a man known only as ‘T.K.’

SSP Fletcher said there is no major breakthrough in the case.

He is calling on persons who witness crimes to tell the police what they know.
