Sanchez is set to receive an award from his Alma Mater for his 30 Year Contribution to the Music Industry.

The St Andrew Technical High School is set to award the renowned reggae singer.

The Show which is dubbed Sanchez and Friends – Keeping it Real” will have its inaugural staging on November 11, at the Jamaica College Auditorium in Kingston.

Fellow Alumni Mega Banton, Warrior King, Jai Kinston and Hawkeye alongside longtime friend Admiral Bailey will pay tribute Sanchez.

Sanchez will not be the only one on the receiving end but will simultaneously be giving back almost 2 million dollars to his Alma mater, in performance fees and other gifts.

All proceeds from the charity event will go towards the re-roofing and expansion of the school’s auditorium.
