St Andrew Technical marches into ISSA/Flow Manning Cup Semi-Final

by November 16th, 2017

1987 winners’ St Andrew Technical has completed the semi-final pairings in the ISSA Flow Manning Cup competition.

This after they held their nerves to secure a 4-3 win on penalties over 22 times winners St. Georges College in their quarter-final playoff at constant spring yesterday.

The teams had earlier battled to a one-all draw after regulation time.

Technical Director at Staths Michael ‘jah Mikes’ Williams reflected on the overall performance of his team, stating that it was total team effort.

St Andrew Technical will now meet pre-season favourites Kingston College in one semi-final in what will be a repeat of this year’s Walker Cup semi final which was won by Kingston College.

The other semi-final will see defending champions Jamaica College facing off with Holy Trinity…..which is also a repeat of last year’s semi-final.
