The St. Catherine South Police have charged 25-year-old Assistant Teacher, Simeon Ramsey with the murder of his parents.

69-year-old Cecil Ramsey and 55-year-old Phyllis Ramsey were killed at their home in Christian Meadows, Portmore, St Catherine on Friday, February 04.

Reports are that about 5:00 a.m, the Ramsey’s were at home when their son used a knife to stab them multiple times.

The son was arrested by police after driving away from the scene to Phoenix Park Village in his mother’s motorcar, which he crashed.

He was charged on Sunday, February 20, following an interview at the Spanish Town Hospital in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being finalized.
