Police and fire fighters responded to a bomb threat at a call Centre in, Montego-Bay St. James, this afternoon.

It’s reported that over one thousand workers at the agency were forced to evacuate the building after the bomb threat was reported about 2 p–m.

No one was injured in the process.

One of the workers told Irie Fm news that he was at lunch, when the alarms went off.

Meantime, head of operations for the St. James police, Superintendent Eron Samuels said after lawmen responded to the call, and carried out the necessary investigations, it was determined that there was no real threat.

Superintendent Samuels said police have identified a suspect in relation to today’s incident.

He has called on persons making false reports of bomb threats, to desist.
