by November 14th, 2017

The James police are probing three separate incidents, including the shooting of a man at a school in downtown Montego Bay, today (Nov 14).

The man’s wounds are not considered life threatening.

He was said to be picking up his child at a basic school in the area, when he was shot.

The second incident involved the killing of a man in Flanker, St. James and the third report suggests, that a man of unsound mind who allegedly attacked a female student was set upon by an angry mob and beaten badly.

Efforts to get details from the police proved futile.

Chairman of the St. James Municipal Corporation, Mayor Homer Davis says the police high command has told him about three incidents that took place in the parish today.

In the meantime, Mayor Davis says the authorities are trying to address the concerns regarding people of unsound mind roaming the streets.

This as people going about their business are at risk of being attacked by those individuals.
