St Mary High retained their Eastern Athletics Championships title at the National Stadium on Tuesday April 27, 2021.

They amassed a total of 403.5 points holding off a strong challenge from Titchfield High who finished with 394.5 points.

Third place went to buff bay with 355 followed by Port antonio 327 with Glengoffe rounding out the top five with 161 points.

A breakdown on the girls side saw St Mary finishing with 260.5 points, finishing ahead of Buff bay, 204; Titchfield, 191.5; Port Antonio, 97 and Glengoffe, 42.

While on the boys side first-time winners Port Antonio high won with 230 points to finish ahead of Titchfield, 203; Buff Bay, 151; St Mary, 143 and Morant Bay 85.

Meanwhile St Mary’s coach Dwayne Williams says it was a hard task getting the athletes up for the challenge.
