Stafanie Taylor to lead West Indies Women’s squad for upcoming tour of New Zealand

Jamaican  all-rounder  Stafanie  Taylor  will  once  again  lead  the  west  indies women’s squad as  they  head  off to  their  upcoming  tour  of  New  Zealand.

Another  Jamaican  Chadean  Nation  is  in the  14-member team  which is scheduled to play  three  one  day  internationals   and  five  T/20  internationals  on the  tour  which  runs  from  march  4  to  25.

This series will be a key part of the team’s preparations for the ICC Women’s World T/20 from November 9 to 24……which  will  be   played  in the  west  indies….specifically  in  Guyana, St. Lucia and Antigua.

Taylor  will  have  the  experienced  Anisa  Mohammed  as  her  vice-captain……Shakera  Selman  was left  out  because  of  injury……….she  has  been  replaced  by  Tremayne  Smartt.

The rest of the  squad  is  Merissa Aguilera, Britney Cooper, Reniece Boyce, Shamilia Connell, Deandra Dottin, Afy Fletcher, Kycia Knight, Kyshona Knight, Hayley Matthews and  Akeira Peters

The players will meet for a camp in Barbados before traveling to New Zealand where they will have another camp before the official start of the series.
