Captain Stafanie Taylor was the top scorer for champions Jamaica in the ‘Windies Women’s Championship T/20 blaze, which ended yesterday.
Taylor scored 109 runs with a highest score of 38 to lead Jamaica to the title.
West Indies opener Hayley Matthews if Barbados scored most runs in the tournament 173 runs with a highest score of 61.
She is followed by Shermaine Campbell of Guyana who recorded 152 runs and also had a highest score of 61.
Juliana Nero of the windward islands was next with 132 runs and a highest total of 44.
Meanwhile, Jamaica’s Vanessa watts and Chedean Nation shared the wicket-takers honours with 9 wickets each.
They are followed by Evra Giddings of Guyana, Roshana Outar of Jamaica and Cordel Jackson of the windward islands who all took 8 wickets each
The super50 tournament starts on Thursday.
