Sunil Ambris century propels Windies A on day 2

A century by Sunil Ambris kept the West Indies A in control on day 2 of the unofficial first Test against India A at the Kent County Ground.

Ambris, after starting on his overnight 24, went on to make 128 while striking 20 boundaries in his 165 ball stay at the wicket before he was removed by Navdeep Saini.

The 25 year old while at the crease shared in a crucial 4th wicket stand of 152 with Shamarh Brooks who fell 9 short of his century when he was dismissed while on 91.

Their partnership helped propel Windies A from their overnight 148 for 3 to 383 all out.

Also making a valuable contribution was Raymond Reifer who strengthened the lower order with a patient 52 from 100 balls during which he stroked 6 boundaries.

Ankit Rajpoot (4-76) was the most successful bowler for India A.

India A batting a second time reached 159 without loss to trail by 91 runs with all 10 wickets in hand as openers Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal staged a fightback. Shaw going on to hit an unbeaten 101 with Agarwal adding 56.

Scores heading into day 3 India A 133 and 159 without loss, West Indies A 383.
