Sunshine Girls on fire at Fast Five Tournament in Australia

Jamaica’s Senior Sunshine Girls were on fire on today’s opening day of the International netball Federation Fast Five championships in Melbourne Australia winning all their three games.

The Jamaicans defeated South Africa 37-29 led by goal shooter and captain Jhaniele fowler -Reid who scored 13 of 18 tries.

Reid return to be the star in their second game against defending champions Australia as the sunshine girls defeated the hosts 26-23.

Reid this time scored 16 from 17 attempts.

The sunshine girls then defeated Malawi 31 24 with Reid scoring 9 from 15 tries.

The Jamaicans who are trying to eclipse their best ever finish a runner up spot in the inaugural competition will be in action on the second day tonight Jamaica time when they play New Zealand and England before competing in the playoffs and possibly finals
