Tamim Iqbal hit is 10th ODI century to steer Bangladesh to a 48 run win over the west indies in Guyana , and take a one nil lead in the five match one day international series.

Iqbal anchored Pakistan’s total of 279 for 4, scored as he scored 130 runs and shared in second wicket stand worth 207-run with Shakib al Hasan who fell three runs shy of a ton on 97.

Mushifiquir Rahim was the next best batsman in double figures with 30, as spinner Davendra Bishoo picked up 2 for 52, with a wicket each for captain Jason holder and Andre Russell.

At their turn to bat the Caribbean men chasing 280 runs to win fell short at 231 for 9, with Shimron Hetmyer leading the way with a half century 52 and Chris Gayle supported with 40.

Bishoo later returned to score an unbeaten 29 along with Alzzari Joseph who also scored 29 not out.

Bowling for the tourists Mashrafe Mortaza led the assault with 4 for 37, with Mustafizur Rahman picking up 2 for 35.
