Tanya Stephens takes stance against US no vax no entry regulation

by November 1st, 2021

As of November 8, entertainers traveling to the United States must be fully vaccinated to gain entry into that country.

According to US regulations, all foreigners entering the country must be fully vaccinated.

Tanya Stephens is one of the first entertainers to boldly state that she will not travel to any country where her human rights have to be given up for entry.

The outspoken entertainer, who continues to voice her opinion across her social media platforms, in a post shared with her over 89.4k followers on the weekend, wrote, in part, “Me nah go nowhere weh mi human rights have to be given up for entry.”

While the COVID-19 vaccine remains a controversial topic among many citizens across the world, Jamaica’s Department of Health and Wellness is assuring those who are fully vaccinated that they will not face any challenges entering the US with the paper-based COVID-19 vaccination certificate currently issued on the island.

Meanwhile, US citizens and legal permanent residents who are eligible to travel, but are not fully vaccinated, will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test one day before their flight.

Ding Dong, Cecile, Mr. Lexx, and Pamputae are among the entertainers who have openly shared that they have taken the COVID-19 vaccine.
