Taxi operators in Trelawny vow to continue protests over bad roads

There could be further disruptions in the public transportation sector, in parts of Northern Trelawny, tomorrow.

 

This, as scores of taxi operators who ply the Falmouth to Wakefield route have vowed to continue their protests, over poor road conditions.

 

The operators withdrew their services today, affecting scores of commuters, including students.

 

Taxi operators who ply routes from Montego Bay, Dumfries and Adelphi in St. James to Trelawny communities also parked their vehicles, this morning.

 

Irie FM News understands that up to news time, large crowds could be seen at taxi stands in Falmouth.

 

A taxi operator told our news team, that the protest will continue tomorrow, as no effort has been made to address their concerns.
