The Ministry of Health and Wellness has reported 10 new COVID-19 related deaths.
The deaths include three males and two females from St. Catherine, aged 50 to 87 years, whose deaths were under investigation from last year.
Meantime, there were 5 deaths reported in February. The deceased are four males from St. Ann and one from St. Mary, aged 51 to 87 years.
There were also 34 new cases confirmed; 17 males and 17 females, ranging in age from 39 days to 88 years. St. Catherine had the highest case count with eight.
The positivity rate is 5%.
There are 507 active cases.
The Health Ministry notes that 97 patients are hospitalized. Twenty-five people are moderately ill, seven are critically ill and seven are severely ill.
