Three people were arrested in relation to the seizure of a firearm and eleven rounds of ammunition during a joint police/military operation in Top Hill, Clarendon, this morning (December 24).

Reports are that about 5:00 AM, members of the security forces conducted an operation at a premises during which the Taurus 9MM pistol with one magazine containing seven 9MM rounds was found in the closet of the house.

Four additional 9MM rounds were also seized, following which the three suspects were taken into custody.

Police have not released their identities.
