Shenseea’s celebration of her deal with Campari as brand ambassador for the Caribbean region has garnered backlash from some female deejays.

The fast-rising dancehall deejay’s manager Romeich further ruffled feathers stating via Instagram; “3 major deals in one year, first ever female artist to do that.”

Dancehall deejay Tifa was the first to spell it out on her Instagram page in a lengthy post highlighting her many endorsement deals while stating that it has been done before.

So too did D’Angel who hinted in a post that people should know their history. D’Angel has since deleted her post.

Shenseea is currently the brand ambassador for Flow and Pepsi which sees her on several local billboards.
