Tivoli Gardens FC leads Red Stripe National Premier Football league standings

Tivoli Gardens FC moved to the top of the standings after chalking up their third straight victory in the Red Stripe National Premier Football league.

This after Colorado Murray scored in the 19th minute to lead them to a one nil win over new comers Dunbeholden who lost their third consecutive game.

Tivoli leads the standings on 9 points, 2 ahead of UWI fc who turned back previous leaders Cavalier one nil, while Waterhouse courtesy of a double strike from Girvon Brown slammed Harbour View 4-nil in the late game to move into third place.

In other games, former champions Arnette gardens rolled past Reno by two goals to nil, with Lennox Russell scoring in the 6th minute and Jamiel hardware getting the second eight minutes from time.

Defending champion’s Portmore united and Humble Lion played to a goal less draw.

The league continues tonight with the Monday night feature match up whenn former champions Montego Bay United host new comers and the unbeaten Mount Pleasant at the st Catherine Hall stadium.
