Tommy Lee Sparta’s Lottery Scamming trial put off

In less than a week the trial of popular dancehall deejay Tommy Lee Sparta who is facing lottery scamming charges was put off.

The trial which began last week Wednesday in the Home Circuit Court was put off today (19/11/18) until December 12 for continuation.


Music News understands that the judge will not be available to continue the trial before that date.


Tommy Lee Sparta who police say is allegedly linked to US citizens’ personal information in the lottery scamming trial is charged jointly with another man.

Allegations are that the police searched a premises in St James in 2014 and found a number of documents which allegedly relate to an international sweepstake.


The men were charged with breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent transactions Special Provisions) Act.
