Jamaica’s Beach Volleyballers at the Norceca Volleyball Tour at Ocho Rios Bay Beach have had a terrible start to the three day tournament.

This after the two male teams and the female team lost their respective opening games earlier today.

The pair of Kai Wright and Tsahai Williams lost their opening game 2-nil to Canada, going down 21-12, 21-16, before losing to Guatemala 2-1. Wright said the chemistry was never on point today.

In other results on the female side Guatemala turned back Mexico 2-love, Cuba got pass Puerto Rico 2-love, taking the contest 21-15, 21-16, while team USA shut out Puerto Rico 21-15, 21-15.

On the male side Mark Lewis and Christopher Walters fell at the first hurdle after being tripped up Canada going down 21-18, 21-12, while the Jamaican b’ team of Tristan Hitchman and Noley Ferguson were brushed aside by Guatemala 21-8, 21-17.

Later in the day Jamaica’s male a’ team bounce back to defeat the Dominica republic two sets to one.
