The tourism ministry is projecting a reduction in earnings due to the impact of the coronavirus on visitor markets and travel restrictions.

Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett said bookings for some flights out of Europe are soft, as in, with a lower load factor.

He however noted that this projected reduction is still indicative of a growth, compared to last year.

It’s expected that revenues will reach $3 b.

With regard to cruise ships, the tourism ministry is projecting a $3 m loss, but this will only be for a short period.
