Trelawny police expect reduction in tension following death of Ski Mask/ Bunkers Hill gangsters

The Trelawney police say they expect to see a reduction in tension in the Bunkers Hill community after three alleged gang members were fatally shot yesterday.

Those killed are 31 year old Adrian Walker, the reputed leader of the Bunkers Hill gang, formerly known as the Ski Mask gang and 37 year old Robert Miller.

The other person has not yet been identified.

The Trelawny police say the men  were wanted in connection with several crimes to include murder, shootings and extortion.

According to acting commander for the Trelawny police division, Winston Milton, sometime after 5:00 p.m. yesterday members of the police were patrolling the community of Friendship, when they came under heavy gunfire and the fire was returned.

When the shooting subsided, police found alleged gang members suffering from gunshot wounds.

He further said the death of the gangsters who have been terrorizing residents in the community of Bunkers Hill will result in relief for the residents.

He was speaking at a media conference at the Trelawny divisional headquarters this afternoon (Oct 23).
