The Trelawny police have raised concerns about an increase in reported cases of incestuous rape, in the parish.

The issue was highlighted during a town hall meeting in Falmouth on Wednesday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Winston Milton lamented that the child victims were abused by persons they held in a position of trust, mainly male relatives.
