Police have charged the woman accused of stabbing and killing her younger sister in Stettin, Trelawny at the weekend.
Head of the Trelawny Police Superintendent Dwight Powell says 23-year old Oshin Crawford of Stettin District in Albert Town, has been charged with the murder of 19-year-old, Kimberly Crawford.
Police reports are that both sisters were at home last Saturday, when an argument developed.
It’s alleged that Kimberly used a piece of broken glass to stab her elder sister Oshin.
It’s understood that the elder sister reached for a knife, which she used to stab her sister to the upper body.
The police were called and upon arrival the wounded female was taken to the Falmouth hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The accused sister was taken into custody and charged with murder.
