Two men were shot dead and three others shot and wounded in separate incidents in Kingston 6 last evening.

Dead are  23- year-old Romaine Minott  otherwise called ‘Baggage’ of Old Hope Road and 29-year-old Junior Brown, otherwise called ‘Popsy’ of Cedar Valley Road,  both in Kingston 6.

Reports are that about 7:45 p.m., Minott was standing along Barbican Road with a group of men when a motorcar drove up with armed men aboard. Two men alighted from the  vehicle and opened gunfire hitting Minott and another male.

Minott was pronounced dead  at hospital and the other man admitted in stable  condition.

Meantime about 8:30 p.m., another group of persons was standing along Cedar Valley Road when they were approached by a  gunman who opened gunfire hitting three of the men, before escaping in a waiting motorcar.  Brown was pronounced dead  at hospital and the other two men were admitted in  stable condition.
