Police have identified the 2 men killed in a 4 vehicle crash, along the rose hall main road in Montego Bay, St. James, last evening (Mar 8).

Dead are 25-year-old, Kevaughn Mills of Roberts Street in Kingston and 20-year-old, Chadwick Robinson of Coffee Ridge in St. Ann.

Reports are that about 8:45 p.m. Mills was driving a Honda Civic motorcar with Robinson on board.

The men were travelling towards Falmouth, when Mills lost control of the vehicle and collided with another Honda Civic and a Toyota motorcar. The Toyota then hit a third Honda Civic.

Mills and Robinson were pronounced dead at hospital, while the driver of the Toyota motorcar was admitted in serious condition.

Three other people sustained minor injuries.

Head of the Traffic and Highway Division, Acting Senior Superintendent Courtney Coubrie says initial reports indicate that the accident resulted from what he calls a race trial, between the drivers of 2 cars.

SSP Coubrie says, Mills died on the spot, while Robinson died at hospital.

Last evening’s accident has pushed the number of road fatalities since the start of the year to 62.
