Two men believed to be of unsound mind are dead following a gruesome incident, in St. Ann’s bay, St. Ann, this morning (October 9).

The deceased have not yet been identified.

The Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, CCU said the incident occurred at about 4am.

Head of the CCU, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay told Irie Fm News, that one of the men reportedly severed the head of the other.

She said when the police tried to apprehend the perpetrator, he reportedly attacked them and was fatally shot.
