The St. Catherine North police have launched a probe into a double murder in the Guanabovale community.

The bodies of 2 men were reportedly found on the Barry main road in Guanabovale, this morning.

They have been identified as 24-year-old Higgler, Romario West, otherwise called ‘Pappa’ and 20-year-old Daniel Jones, otherwise called ‘Gaza’, both of Duxes District, Point Hill, in the parish.

Reports are that about 7:20 a.m., residents stumbled upon the bodies and summoned the police.

Crime scene investigators who processed the crime scene confirmed that the bodies had gunshot wounds.

The bodies were removed to the morgue pending a post mortem.
