Two men killed in Zambia, St. Catherine

The Central Village police in St. Catherine are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murders of two unidentified men in Zambia district, Central Village, between yesterday and today (Feb 9).

One man was reportedly decapitated.

In the first incident, reports are that about 11 o’ clock last night, a team of officers responded to calls from residents, who reported hearing gunshots.

The team found a man with gunshot wounds, lying on a refrigerator, at a shop on Wellington Drive, in the community.

The body has bleached skin, and appears to be in its thirties.

It was clad in a pink merino, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of black slippers.

The police were again called to the community about 7 o’clock this morning, after residents told police that a human head was seen along the Mandela Highway.

Officers who responded found the head of a man along the roadway.

Further investigation revealed the headless body of a male, on the banks of a canal, in the community.

The body was clad in a blue polo t-shirt, a white merino, a pair of grey jeans, and a pair of white reebok sneakers.

Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
