Two men were shot, 1 fatally on Barnett Street in Montego Bay, St. James, last evening (January 14).

Dead is 30-year-old Dwayne Gibson of Gravel Lane, in Montego Bay.

Reports are that at about 9:40 p.m., Gibson was among a group of persons on Barnett Street, when gunmen opened fire at them.

Gibson and a passer-by were hit.

They were taken to hospital, where Gibson was pronounced dead, and the other man was admitted in stable condition.
