Two more persons have died from COVID-19, pushing the country’s death tally to 2, 810.

The deceased are an 85-year-old male from Westmoreland and a 77-year-old female from Kingston and St. Andrew.

The Health Ministry reports that 3 other deaths are under investigation.

Meanwhile, 57 more people have tested positive for the virus, pushing the case count to 127,856. St James led the tally with 15 cases, followed by St. Catherine with 10.

The positivity rate is 8%.

Hospitalizations are down to 159. Of this number, 34 patients are moderately ill, 16 are severely ill and 5 are critically ill.

There are 181 recoveries, pushing that tally to 76, 133.
