A soup vendor was shot and killed in Annotto Bay St. Mary last evening (June 2).

Dead is thirty-two-year-old Victor Brown of Bottom Bay, Annotto Bay.

Reports from the Port Maria Police are that at about 7:30 p.m., Brown was at his stall when he was pounced upon by a gunman who opened fire hitting him several times.

Another man who was close by received gunshot wounds.

The police were alerted and both men were taken to the hospital where brown was pronounced dead and the other man was admitted for treatment.
