Calabar’s class one boys 100 meters champion Tyreke Wilson will join close friend Jevaughn Matherson of Kingston College in the Florida State Seminoles class of 2018.
Wilson, was a key component of Calabar high school’s seven straight ‘boys champs’ victories, winning the 100m titles in class 3 and 1 as well as led off several 4x100m championships winning and record-breaking teams
His crowning achievement so far is the IAAF World Under 18 championships bronze medal he won representing Jamaica last year in Nairobi, Kenya.
Wilson ranks number 5 in the world in the 100metres this year with his personal best 10.21 seconds in winning the boys champs title.
